Lord,
Despite your warnings, you people continuously rebelled. Despite your warnings, our flesh is insatiable. We lust after those things that bring us death and separation from you. In all history of the earth you have been justified towards anger, resentment, and wrath. You have created a people and given them the instructions for success, yet they loved other gods. Despite this, beyond all understanding, You loved them and showed them mercy. Even when they worship and bow to other gods, You loved your people. No matter what, Your love prevailed. Praise You, Father, that we are not forgotten and abandoned. Praise You, that you love us despite our rebellion. Thank you that even then, you knew we would continue to sin, but you sent Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice and showed us we were worth it. We praise and worship You in all we do.
