Dear God,
We come to You today in awe and wonder, praising Your holy name for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. In the beginning, before time began, He was with You, the Word made flesh. He came to dwell among us, to show us Your love and to make a way for us to be reconciled to You.
We thank You for sending Jesus to be the Light of the world, shining in the darkness and exposing our sin. We confess that we have wandered far from You, but we rejoice that You have sent Your Son to bring us back into Your loving embrace.
Jesus, You are the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. By Your blood shed on the cross, You have paid the penalty for our sins and made us righteous in Your sight. We are so grateful for Your sacrifice, and we pray that You would help us to live our lives in a way that is worthy of Your great love.
Holy Spirit, we ask You to fill us with Your presence and guide us into all truth. Help us to grow in our knowledge of Jesus Christ and to become more like Him in our thoughts, words, and deeds.
We pray for Your blessing on Your church around the world. Empower us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything You have commanded us.
We also pray for our world, which is in such need of Your healing and redemption. Bring peace to those who are at war, comfort to those who are grieving, and hope to those who are despairing.
Finally, we pray for ourselves. Help us to be faithful witnesses to Your love and grace. May our lives be a light to others, and may we bring glory to Your holy name.
All this we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
