Dear Lord,
Thank you for the faith of Paul. Thank you for the testimony of his imprisonment and trial. Oh, to have the faith and boldness of Paul!
Make our hearts like those of Paul. Just as he wishes, make us like him so that we may know you better! Bring us along on the journey of sanctification and help us to know you better.
Give us words to speak when we are questioned. Give us faith when we are doubting. Give us hope when we are hopeless.
You are the only sources for these things, Lord. Where else shall we go?
