Dear Lord,
We come before you today asking for wisdom. Help us to be able to discern the difference between faithfully serving you and the pursuit of the foolish things of this world. Give an understanding of the spiritual gifts you’ve given each one of us to use for your kingdom. Give us compassion to minister to those in need that we may be a light in a dark world. May we live our lives with the anticipation of the day when we stand before your throne. We thank you that we are reminded of the sacrifice of Jesus for the cleansing of our sins. We pray that you will continue to give us hearts that are ever grateful for the gift of salvation through Jesus’ body and blood. Just as Jesus sought the strength to carry the burden of the cross, may we be reminded of the sacrifice that you ask of us-to love unconditionally, and to remain faithful to you even in the darkest of hours. We love you and again are thankful for the salvation that you have provided to us.
