Lord, thank you that in the midst of our sinfulness you still care for us. Thank you that we can trust in you. Thank you for the Good Shepherd that cares for us, looks after us, and guides us. Not only have you promised the Good Shepherd but you’ve also promised to come again. As we read in Zechariah 11-14, you are coming again for your people. We pray for the day when “living waters will flow from Jerusalem” and your presence will physically dwell among us once again. Lord help us to be the people you’ve called us to be in the midst of these times. Help us to be faithful in the gap, and fully prepared for your return. We love you and worship you, In Jesus name, Amen.
