Father,

Your patience outlasts the moments I think I’ve gone too far. Your love is much wider than what I expect or deserve. When I find myself turning away from Your will, you wait with open arms for my return. Instead of anger and disconnection I find grace and nearness in repentance.

You say in Hosea 12:8,
“O Israel,[c] stay away from idols! I am the one who answers your prayers and cares for you. I am like a tree that is always green; all your fruit comes from me.”

When the world says I’ll find satisfaction in the brokeness of flesh, you remind me that those hopes are empty. You remind me where my hope will come to fruition. When I’m walking with you, every circumstance has life! My purpose is clear and my path is worthwhile. Nothing compares to my God. Where can I search and find more? Thank you for your patience and love.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen
