Father, we thank you for your word. Just like Daniel we are astonished at the visions written in this prophecy. It is very easy to get lost in the predictions, applications, and fulfillments of the things to come and how they will come to pass. But we agree with Daniel’s prayer in chapter 9 that you are “the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him.” We rest on your faithful love through any trial, tribulation, or trouble that may come. We thank you that, because of Jesus, we get to have a deep and intimate relationship with you and you walk with us through every season. We do not have to fear death, sickness, or sorrow because you are working all things together for your glory and our good. We pray for all the Christians around the world who are experiencing persecution for the name of Jesus. We ask that you give them strength and boldness to proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God without reservation. We pray that they be filled with joy as they face trial, knowing that Jesus is worth everything. Would you please instill in us the same value that Jesus and His fame are worth giving all that we have. Don’t allow us to be complacent Holy Spirit. Give us conviction to share the gospel to everyone within our influence. Your kingdom come and your will be done. Amen.
