Thank you Jesus! You are the Son of Man, the Ancient of Days, the Most High, the One True God. We are so grateful that you came and tabernacled among us. You showed us the heart and character of God by the way you lived your life. You had compassion on all people and came down from heaven so that we might have a relationship with you. We thank you for your death and resurrection that has freed us from the power of sin and death, destroyed the works of the devil, and purchased our peace with God. We thank you, Holy Spirit, that you are constantly transforming us. We thank you that you are making us look more and more like Jesus every day. We do recognize, though, that we are only experiencing a taste of your kingdom. It has been inaugurated but all of creation eagerly awaits its fulfillment. Daniel 7:14 proclaims this truth about that coming day. ““And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.” We trust in you Jesus that you have all authority, power, and dominion. We exist to bring your glory and praise. The greatest joy in life is to bring you these things in worship. As we worship you, we wait with expectation that you are coming again in power to bring an everlasting kingdom. We long for the day where there will be no more pain, tears, or hurt. We yearn for not only the renewal of our bodies but the redemption of all creation. We are filled with excitement for that day to come when Revelation 21:3 is fulfilled, “Behold the dwelling place of God is with man!” Amen.
