Dear Lord,
We are not worthy of your mercy. How can we, as your creation, who have rebellion and complained claim that we deserve mercy?
In our rebellion, sin, and neglect, how can the words form in our blasphemous mouths? How can we question the creator of existence? The great I Am?
Lord, thank you for Jesus. Thank you for his permanent mercy! Thank you for your mercy on your people who don’t deserve it. Thank you that we can commune with you despite our wickedness. Oh! How precious the blood of Jesus that makes us righteous!
We love you, Lord!
