Dear Lord,
Thank you that you always promise to be with us even when our hearts are troubled. It is your unfailing love that we cling to during difficult times. Help us to see that this life is not without trouble and there are consequences to our sin, but it is your love that calls us back to you. It is in our darkest hour that we find our hope and joy in you. Thank you for your son Jesus and his sacrifice for us to have life in you. We are no longer in a place of exile but are your children and for that we are thankful. No matter what difficulties this world throws at us we have a hope that lasts forever. Thank you for your compassion that you have shown to us and help us to remember that your mercies are new every morning and that your faithfulness will last forever. We love you Lord.
