Dear God,
We come to you today in prayer, seeking your hope in the midst of our despair. We are reminded of the words of Ezekiel, who saw a vision of a sword coming against Jerusalem, and we fear for our future.
But we also know that you are a God of hope. You have promised that you will never leave us or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). You have promised that you will restore us to a place of peace and prosperity (Jeremiah 29:11).
We trust in your promises, and we believe that you will bring us hope in our darkest hour. We pray that you would give us the strength to endure our suffering, and that you would help us to trust in your love.
We pray that your peace would reign in our lives, in our land, and in our homes, in Jesus name, Amen!
