Dear Lord,
Your word is powerful and true. Allow it to penetrate the deepest parts of our spirit. We know that in your word lies wisdom, knowledge, and above all-life. Our prayer today is that we listen to the words you speak to us through prayer, scripture, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Give us confidence to speak your truth wherever you lead us. May your word in our lives not return void but bear fruit. Speak to us this day and let our hearts receive your word so that we can be obedient as we pursue the calling you’ve placed on our lives. Just as you laid the foundations of the earth and cast the stars across the heavens, your word in our lives is just as powerful. Let us not forget the power that we have and the calling that you’ve placed on each one of us to be lights in the darkness and to be messengers to the lost. We love you Lord and thank you for your words of wisdom and truth.
