Dear God,
I pray that you give me compassion towards my neighbor. That when I see somebody in suffering I may reach out to them. Don’t let my heart grow weary of doing good. Don’t let my heart become desensitized with pain. Let my heart feel and break as yours breaks. Give me a heart towards those who are far from you and will be destroyed. Give me the wisdom to manage my resources in a way that can be shared with those around me. Let me find favor in the eyes of those who are suffering. Give me words of wisdom to speak into their lives in a way that brings life! Let my pain be a testimony for those. Let it be an encouragement and a witness to your love.
