Lord,
We come to you today in prayer, grateful for your faithfulness and your love. We are reminded of your faithfulness in the story of Esther, where you used her to save your people from destruction.
Haman, the king’s right-hand man, had plotted to kill all the Jews in the kingdom. But Esther risked her life to go before the king and beg for mercy. You heard her prayer and worked through her to save your people.
We are grateful for your faithfulness, Lord. We know that you are always with us, even in the midst of difficult times. We pray that you would give us the courage to stand up for what is right, even when it is difficult. We pray that you would help us to be faithful to you, no matter what the cost.
We also pray for those who are facing persecution today. We pray that you will be with them and give them strength. We pray that your people will live in freedom and peace by the power of your Spirit.
We pray all of this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
