Father—Open our hearts to hear Your word. Let your ways and your words rend our hearts. Break our hearts over the things that break your heart. Purge our hearts and lives from the sins we engage with. Give us your eyes to see how You see. Give us the desire to tear down the high places in our lives that don’t glorify You. Help us to do what your Word says with the mercy and grace that you have. Then heal us with your hand and your spirit. Bring us near to you in all that we do so that we can share that hope, joy and forgiveness with others. Let us fully return to You in any area where we don’t follow you. Search the depths of our hearts and our lives so that we can have more and more of Your presence.
