Father,
So many trials can be avoided when I simply humbly submit myself to You fully. So many of the challenges I find myself facing can be avoided when my pride is subject to Your glory! Teach me to listen to Your voice first and to act on Your call. When I find myself led astray, I commit steps to Your plan and Your will. Only You know what will shape me and mold me into Your image. You are always the best way, and worthy of my life.
When I follow my own idols and seek my own glory, I quickly find destruction. I am incapable of holding the weight my flesh wants to command. But You are more than able! You know what’s before me and You can change the tide! Father, I submit myself to Your Kingdom and I proclaim You alone as my King.
