Lord, you are a God of justice and righteousness. You are a God who sees the oppressed and hears the cries of the poor. You are a God who is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. You are a God who keeps your covenant and steadfast love with those who love You.
I pray that you would help me to be a person who is just and righteous. I pray that I would be a person who sees the oppressed and stands with them. I pray that I would be a person who is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. I pray that I would be a person who keeps covenant and steadfast love to those who love you and keep your commandments to a thousand generations.
I pray that you would help me to be a person who is like David, a man after your own heart. I pray that you would give me a heart that is pure and humble, a heart that is willing to obey you and follow your ways. I pray that you would give me a heart that is full of love for you and for others.
I pray that you would help me to be a person who is strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. I pray that you would give me the strength to overcome temptation and to resist the devil. I pray that you would give me the strength to stand firm in the face of adversity.
Lord, I pray I will finish my life like David did, in obedience and reverence to you. I pray I would be seen as a man just like David was, “a man after God’s own heart.” Help me Lord. I love you so much, I’m so grateful for your grace and salvation, and pray I live in the strength of almighty God.
