Lord, you are my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer. You are my God, in whom I take refuge, my Shield and the horn of my salvation. You are my strength and my song; you have become my salvation. You called me out of the depths of the pit and set my feet on a rock. You put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to you. You will not let my enemies triumph over me. You have crowned me with your steadfast love and mercy. You have filled my life with joy and gladness. You have made me glad with your presence.

I thank you, Lord, for your goodness and your love. I thank you for your faithfulness and your mercy. I thank you for your protection and your provision. I thank you for your forgiveness and your grace. I thank you for your salvation and your redemption. I thank you for your life and your resurrection. I thank you for your kingdom and your power. I thank you for your glory and your majesty. I thank you for your love that endures forever.

Lord, thank you for David’s song of praise. Thank you for the victory that is found in you. Thank you for supporting us, loving us, and caring for us. We love you. As David declared in 2 Samuel 22:47 we pray now, “The Lord lives! Praise to my Rock! May God, the Rock of my salvation, be exalted.”

In Jesus’ name, amen.
