Lord,
I understand you never promised my life would be easy. From time to time I will encounter things that are difficult to handle. Hardships will come but thank you that in the midst of them your love for me never fails. You never look the other way but continue to want to have a relationship with me. Thank you that you have great plans for my life and help me to focus on you as I encounter tough times. Let your spirit guide me in all I do that I may be able to accomplish great things in your name. I know that you create beauty from ashes and that tough times can stand as a testament to your never failing love for me.
