Hi ZH Kids Families!
Hi ZH Kids Families!

We have a couple of exciting updates as we head into a new season of Kids Ministry!

K–5TH IS STAYING FOR WORSHIP!

Over the summer, our K–5th grade kids have been joining us in BIG Church for worship before heading to their classrooms. We’ve received such great feedback from both parents and our church family that we’re making it a regular part of Sundays at Zealhouse!

We believe there is something important about generations gathering together in worship.

Our kids learn to worship not only from what we teach them, but from watching us worship. They get to see their parents, grandparents, pastors, and church family sing, pray, respond to God, and make His presence a priority.

Scripture gives us a beautiful picture of faith being passed from one generation to the next:

“One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.”

— Psalm 145:4

We want our kids to know that worship isn’t simply something they do in Kids Ministry; it’s part of what it means to belong to the family of God.

So going forward, K–5th graders can be pre-checked into ZH Kids before service and then stay with their families for worship. After worship, we’ll announce when it’s time for them to head to their classrooms, where our Kids Team will be ready for them!

And of course, kids are always welcome to remain with their families in BIG Church for the entire service.

 IT'S MOVE-UP SUNDAY!
 IT'S MOVE-UP SUNDAY!

It’s officially time to MOVE UP!

This Sunday, our ZH Kids will move into their new grades and classrooms for the year.

That means our new Kindergarteners will officially join our Elementary class for the first time! We are so excited to welcome them into this next season.

It also means our new 6th graders are graduating from ZH Kids and joining us in BIG Church for the full service. We love getting to watch these kids grow up in our church family, and we can’t wait to see what God does in this next chapter of their lives.

Have a newly turned 3-year-old?

Children who have recently turned 3 and are fully potty trained are eligible to move up into our Pre-K classroom. Because readiness can look a little different at this age, please speak with one of our Kids Ministry volunteers on Sunday if your child is ready to make the move, and we’ll help get them transitioned!
