Dear God,

We come before you today in awe of your greatness and majesty. As we read about John’s vision of your throne room in Revelation, we are reminded of your power and sovereignty over all creation.

We praise you for your holiness and for the Lamb who was slain, who alone is worthy to take the scroll and open its seals. Thank you that you are a worthy God. We are humbled by the sight of the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders who fall before you, casting their crowns at your feet. May we not boast in anything but you!

Lord, we acknowledge that we are unworthy to stand in your presence, yet we are grateful for the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ. May we always seek to honor you with our lives and join with the heavenly chorus in singing your praises.

Please help us to persevere through trials and tribulations, knowing that you are the one who holds the future in your hands. May we be faithful to the end, knowing that the victory has already been won through the blood of the Lamb.

In Jesus Name,

Amen.
