Dear Lord,
We thank you for your spirit’s direction in our lives. As we seek you today give us hearts to pursue holiness in the midst of the evil things that are going on in the world around us. We know that you desire holiness from your people-a people set apart from the things of this world. We want to be a light in the darkness and provide hope to those in need of it.
We look forward to the day when the battle is over and we can celebrate the final victory over sin and death. Thank you for the hope that we have in Jesus and that we will one day celebrate his coming with fellow believers. We look forward to the day we are able to sit at your feet and worship you along with the rest of the heavens. Your ways are higher than ours and we trust you to bring about a restoration to this earth that will last forever. We are thankful to be a part of your divine plan for this earth. We love you.
