Dear Lord,
We come to you today asking for wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit. Open our hearts and minds to understand your purpose for our lives and the church body as a whole. Give us courage today as we wait patiently for the promises you have in store. As individuals help us to stand firm in our faith, even when the world around us seems to challenge it. As a church, help us to remain united in purpose, dedicated to praying for those around us, and fill us with a passion to spread the gospel to all corners of the earth. In the face of opposition, may we be empowered by the Holy Spirit so that we can continue to build your kingdom here on earth as we wait for your return. Give us compassion to love others just as you have loved us. May our lives reflect the transformation brought on by your grace, and may our actions be a testimony of the power of your resurrection. We love you and are dependent on you today. Fill us with more of you!
