Father,
Help us be aware of Your presence, Lord. In our business, our work, our daily lives, or in anything else that comes into our life, please help us refocus on You. Help us become aware that You are always near and never far no matter what we face or where we are. Help us to stop and wait upon You when life is fleeting before us and there seems to be no time to take a breath or to rest. Our need for You exceeds our need for Your gifts. Help us recognize that we need You more than we need our next breath of air. Thank you for being Emmanuel, God with us.
