Dear Lord,
Praise you for your promises. Praise you that you use us. As broken people we are made whole through your interaction with us. You could have neglected us and thrown us aside in our rebellion and sin. Yet, you loved us so that you not only save us through Christ, but welcome us to be the dwelling place of your spirit. Praise you, God!
Make us like John the Baptist. Make us so concerned with your glorious plan that our lives are transformed into lives of service. May I only eat of locusts and honey if it means that I am doing your will. Make us your vessels, Lord!
Your will be done!
