Father,
In times when the road ahead seems uncertain, help me to trust in You. Help my heart remember your faithfulness is a part of my past and it can be a part of my future. When I choose your path, I cannot be led astray. When I’m facing trials, you are only building my resilience if I just cling to you instead of my own understanding.
I will seek your voice in all things. Not as another opinion to consider but as the answer to all things. Whether I need your word or I’m granted your wisdom, I commit each choice to your will.
I’ve seen the destruction of rebellion around me too many times to test it in my own life. I’ve seen the phony wisdom of men who think they’re indestructible fall from their trivial thrones. There is only one throne that remains steadfast.Your kingdom outlasts every plan of man. Thank you for inviting me into such a plan for your ultimate glory and my own salvation.
