Father,
We can’t face these battles on our own. Thank You for resting with us and showing us the hope of your ultimate victory. You’ve already won and we are blessed to see the outcome written in Your Holy word. Teach us to trust Your power and more than anything, to keep our eyes on You in the midst of battle!
In Your word, Your people cry “Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” (2 Chronicles 20:12)
The fight is still waging and You are still the same God of victory. Now, we hold the power of Your victory through Christ! The battle has always belonged to you, even when we’ve tried to force the outcome ourselves. Lord, let my worship be my weapon and my greatest battle cry be Your praise.
