Father,
We come before you with humble hearts, recognizing your sovereignty and your greatness. We lift up our voices in prayer, knowing that you are always listening and ready to hear us.
We read in 1 Samuel 4-7 about the Israelites, who were defeated in battle by the Philistines. They turned to you for help and you answered their prayers by delivering them from their enemies. We pray that you would do the same for us today. We are facing challenges and difficulties that seem insurmountable, but we know that nothing is impossible for you.
We pray that you would be with us as we face our battles. We ask that you would give us strength and courage, and that you would help us to trust in your power and your grace. We pray that you would give us wisdom and discernment, so that we may know how to navigate the challenges that lie ahead.
We also pray for your guidance and your protection. We ask that you would lead us in the way that we should go, and that you would shield us from harm. We know that you are our protector and our defender, and we put our trust in you.
